Dip Dye Wild Ombre & Extensions
I've been dying to do this recently and I've finally had the guts to go ahead and do it...
First, I tried to dip dye my hair with 'Wild Ombre Preference' and because I've had my hair dyed brown before, the colour didn't take very well and went bright orange. So attempted it again and it was better, but still had a copper look to it, which wasn't what I wanted.
I gave in and rang my hair dresser who saw my hair and looked a bit worried, but did a perfect job of dying it a darker blonde and it's now lighter as I've been sitting in the sun.
Then it comes to the extensions...
I bought some 'natural' hair extensions from a shop and I presumed I could dye them with the same kit. But no, they didn't take the colour at all. I was pretty baffled why, so I looked online to find a cheaper way of dying them with stuff at home. I tried everything from lemon juice to bathroom bleach! Nothing worked!
In the end I rang my hair dresser again and she told me that my so called 'natural' hair extensions are actually man made!
