AFCB promotes 'Men United'
On Saturday, AFC Bournemouth played Liverpool in a gripping home game. Whilst most fans were either watching it on TV or down there in the cold, being a Fashion student I noticed an interesting wardrobe differentiation to what Bournemouth usually wear.
AFC Bournemouth pleasantly surprised me when they were standing in the tunnel before walking out onto the pitch in 'Men United' scarves.
'Men United' is a charity that raises awareness of men with prostate cancer and prostate problems.
ITV and AFCB knew this game would have thousands of viewers, but this charity isn't hugely well know. I don't know about anyone else, but I had never heard of it before the game. I like the way the name of the charity is football related to become more appealing to the male population.
