GHD's... May You Rest In Peace

Last weekend, I experienced something that a girl never wants to accept.

For the past few weeks my GHD's had been making a very peculiar noise, as if the wires had frayed. But last weekend, they started burning up and sparking up smoke. As you can imagine, this has been a tough loss to accept.

As my hair is naturally curly and I rely far too much on my straighteners everyday to straighten the frizz and curl out. I can't bare thinking of going a day without them. Yes, I know, that's very sad.

Luckily I had done my hair for the day when they died, so I could hold out for a day, but I was worried what I would do when it came to Monday morning and walking into work with frizzy, curly hair. That was no option for me.

As much as I really wanted GHD's again, I couldn't afford them at the time.

So I bought these after careful research into reading reviews, product info and product price and quality.

I was nervous after reading one or two reviews saying they weren't as good as GHD's or didn't glide through thick here properly. But it was the best price at the time and it was highly recommended. Most of the reviews sounded amazing, so I gave it a go.

And you know what, they're amazing quality for what I paid for them. I was so impressed with how quickly they heated up and how sleek my hair is now. It does everything that it explains on the box. My hair stays straight all day, with no frizz or kinks.

On the box:

- 86% more shine
- 88% better condition, softer and straighter
- 94% smoother and sleeker
- Advanced ceramic coated plates infused with micro conditioners
containing Moroccan Argan oil with Vitamin E

So if anyone is looking for an alternative to a GHD, but doesn't want the price tag, I would highly recommend Remington Shine Therapy straighteners.
