21st Birthday Weekend Back Home

Finally, my 21st birthday! I was looking forward to this weekend since I got back to uni. Uni has been mental. It was nice to put my feet up for a few days and forget about work.

I woke up on Saturday morning to the most amazing birthday breakfast - bucks fizz and homemade cinnamon and raisin bread. Who doesn't like to be treated like a princess on their birthday?!

This had to be the biggest shock - 1.5 litres of champagne! My parents know me so well...

Both Mum and Dad flew me to Dunkerswell for lunch - now come on, who can say they had lunch in Devon and get back home in time for tea and dinner in Oxford?

Like I said to Dad - it doesn't get any less cool every time I go up flying. If anything, it gets more beautiful every time.

Got back in time for tea and I honestly thought Mum wasn't going to buy me a cake - the excuse being that I'm now too old for cake! No ones too old for cake.

As per usual, I had to take a selfie before going out to dinner.

Hands down, The White Hart has the most breathtaking food. And I'm not just saying that because I worked there a few years ago. The belly of pork has to be my favourite dish - and I wasn't disappointed! Followed by more champagne. The bubbly was flowing all day.

Poached pears, arctic roll and mulled wine for dessert. Gorgeous pudding wine as well.

Very sweetly received this at the end of the evening.

Earlier in the week, I went out with Tom's family in Southampton. Charli very sweetly made us a joint birthday cake as it was Tom's 22nd birthday earlier this week.

As much as I'm feeling spoilt and relaxed, I still can't bring myself to think of uni tomorrow.

Thank you to Mum, Dad, Alice, Kieran, Granny, Tom, Nigel, Jan, Charli and James for making my 21st so special!
