Loving The Small Things In Life

After this first week of settling into our new place and paying the last bills for the previous house, I've been able to let me hair down and enjoy a few days off.

Yep, we went to Thope Park!

This had to be the best picture of the day. Taking into consideration that this was our last ride of the day and I was actually smiling rather then screaming. So it was lucky both Tom and I were smiling at the camera (pure luck). Certainly worth £10 - this included the picture on a fridge magnet and a digital download.

If you don't know Thorpe Park or the ride 'Saw,' above are a few snap shots of one part of the ride!

I was convinced that the Angry Birds 4D Experience was going to be dull and boring, but I couldn't have been more wrong. If you get the chance to see it, watch it. I don't want to give too much away, but, the seats move and the 3D glasses were surprisingly very good. Just make sure you're prepared.

Swarm was incredible. Tom was trying to convince me to go on it backwards, but I had suffered from enough whiplash that day to last me for a while.

Tidal Wave. Now, what can I say about this ride that isn't already explained in the picture above.
Yes, you get drenched.

How can you go to Thorpe Park and not go on the tea cups or the carousel?
Tom and I did both.

Earlier last week, I came home and found Winnie The Pooh waiting for me. I enjoyed that evening watching it with a glass of wine, whilst Tom was playing on Sims 3 that I got him.

Yesterday, I helped out Tom and his parents at a brass band fete, as the band was celebrating their 150th anniversary! Whilst Tom, Jan and Nige were playing, I wandered about and found this gorgeous home made cakes. Check out the website here and on the name below to see the other fabulous cakes and cupcakes they make. For more information, visit their Facebook page.

We also had a lovely weekend, with the rents and enjoyed an amazing BBQ cooked by Tom.

Phew, bring on next week!
