Retail Problems - Style

Working in retail requires dress standards - that being, nice hair, nails and cleanliness. But there's nothing that says we can't add our own personal touch. It's so easy to be told to wear black and wear any old thing, but as a fashion student, this is a great opportunity for me.

(Above - Black pointed suede shoes £12 Matalan)

Before these, I wore black lace ballet pumps, from New Look, which rubbed so badly that they've left corns on the sides of my feet (not very attractive). I still need to find a chance to wear these in, as they do rub on my ankles and leave lovely blisters. I wanted something stylish (and black) to wear on my feet but it's typical, I can't seem to find a nice pair of  comfortable black shoes in a size 8/9.

So the search continues...
