What a year 2018 has been so far!
It's almost been a year since I last wrote on here, so let's bring you up to speed...
So let's start with the elephant in the room - it's about two months until Tom and I tie the knot! The past year has been crazy booking all sorts of things for the big day. Tom and I cannot tell you how ecstatic we are - I feel as though I can talk for him on here - but yes, I'm stupidly excited.
I don't want to give too much away about the big day... but the honeymoon, I can shout and scream about that. USA here we come! Two weeks of sun and time to just be Mr and Mrs T (eek!). So we begin in New York, fly to Las Vegas, drive down to Anaheim for Disney and finish off in Los Angeles. I can almost guarantee that I will spam my Instagram account with plenty of pictures.
More recently, we've been buzzing talking to our florist, booking our cake to be made, purchasing our ESTA's (this was a pain in the backside) and meeting up with our photographer for our all important engagement shoot. I cannot tell you how important this is to get to know your photographer. It put us at ease knowing what we will expect on the day but more importantly, we were able to relax and have a giggle. I won't spam this post with too many pictures but each one puts a huge smile on my face. They make me so proud to know that I'll be calling this man my husband in a few months time.
Now I've got the soppy stuff out of the way, I can now rave about my hen do!
My sister arranged the most amazing hen do I could ever ask for. I got to eat the most amazing dinner and drink the most gorgeous wine with the most important women in my life. It meant so much to me that I could share my hen do with close friends and family. I mean yes, I spent the following day puking my guts out all day but I can't thank my sister enough for the most amazing send off.
More recently, my Mum arranged a weekend for us to go to Wales with my sister. I cannot rave about this hotel enough - St Brides Hotel and Spa - if you ever get the chance, go! Look it up. It was such a special weekend to spend with my Mum and my sister. Full of plenty of giggles, amazing food, breath-taking views and memories that will stay with me for a life time.
With all of this in mind, it's all hit home that we are getting married. I would be telling porkies if I said I wasn't nervous, but I cannot tell you how much I'm looking forward to walking up that aisle and saying my vows in front of the man I love.
Plenty of things to update you all with, but until next time!
Xxx
